    the side walls seem pretty prone to damage if you clip the kerb when getting into a driveway.

    I recently discovered this - not sure if I need to get this fixed. This is the worst of them but there are other smaller ones on the other tyres (might be from deeper potholes too). Have had these less than a year.

    That appears to be just a bit of damage to the "rim protector" portion of the tyre, where they put a bit of extra thickness to try and give a small amount of protection the rim if you rub against the gutter.

    I would just glue the flappy bit of rubber back down with a bit of superglue so that it doesnt look ugly.
