Hahaha you're going the wrong way! This is the opposite of stretching!

My OEM alloys were 14x6 and they had 185/60 as the stock tyre. I'm guessing 185 or 195 would be the max.

I got 205s onto 4 inch rims for a joke once.

    The ride was ......interesting.

hahaha.. well it's not so much of a "oh god! i really wanna make my car anti-phat with anti-stretch cause i'm such an anti-non-dousche bag". so many negatives...

to get to the point, i have some 15x5.5 and i can get some good 195/50 tyres comparatively cheaply, and i was wondering if i'd get any adverse effects, like blunt handling etc..

depends on the side walls too. if the tyre is bigger than the rim, I believe the tyre will have more "play", kinda the same thing as having massive side walls.

I don't think it'll help the handling. hell it wont. I would be 185s at the max i think. try to get a decently low profile too aye..

Just keep an eye on your tyre pressures I guess.
