Lowering & stretch

2 quick questions...

1. Just put a set of coilovers on my mk6 GTI and it's has come up great. both front and rear are wound down their lowest. but was looking for a bit more lower in the front. Any suggestions?

2. Wanted to stretch some tyres on the factory detroits. Is this possible or do I need wider Wheels?

dont put narrow tyres on your stock wheels. its lame and looks terrible.
what brand coilovers? if they have a helper spring you could possibly pull that out
