    Hahahah thats my problem, I have been reading the forums and now I'm more confused than ever.

    Ebay is not an option, thanks Scott.

    As Gravey has said, nd the way I'm looking is to go Bilstein & Eibach.

    But again the choices are endless, so I'll email them and let them tell which way to go.

    check your part number - I have checked and it lists 8556-140 & 8557-140 (but check yourself and dont blame me if im wrong)

    There are a couple with those part numbers - 8557 appears to be if you dont have A/C, 8556 is the wagon & 8556a is Passat with a/c.....double check with eibach to see what is the most appropriate option.

    Then I'd look at shocks - the options are endless but Bilstein have matched their shocks to work with Eibach Springs, which is why most people choose the Bilstein B8. That's not to say Koni or other brands wont be just as good or have better features. Check the manufacturers site's application guide to get the right part numbers for your car and then start looking for somewhere to buy them.

    Local if you want to pay a bit more and have local support, or US if you want to save a bit and dont care about sending the shocks back to the US if they have an issue.

    Bilstein use a mono-tube design, which is generally stronger and will last a helluva long time. Some of the Koni's are adjustable though and hence use a twin-tube design, having said that I've spoken to people with the Konis and they've had zero issues and love them just as much as Bilstein users

    Oh and also remember that when the springs say lowering "up to 30mm" you may or may not achieve the maximum. I only got somewhere between 15-20mm drop as my existing suspension was shagged, but I was happy with this. Coilovers give you added flexibility in choosing the exact height you want (as well as damper in some cases), but cost a lot more for high quality
