I just lowered my MKV with Eibach Sportline. I run 18x8 wheels & get a little scrubbing now & then if hit a decent bump or on full lock
Hi all, can anyone recommend a good quality set of springs to lower my R Line with? I only want to lower by about 25mm, no more as I don't want any rubbing as I'm running spacers as well.

Dropped my Tig about 30mm with Eibach Pro Kit springs. Impressed with how they work regarding front-end lift & dive (& rear 'squatting') under more aggressive acceleration & braking. Car looks great just that little bit lower, too!![]()

H&R or Eibach are the ones most commonly used on here and vortex.

I like the lowered look - enough to fill up the guards but not sitting too squat
Where did you get your springs from and what model? I had a look on the Eibach site but didn't come up with anything for the Tiguan... though there are some on ebay: EIBACH PRO-KIT LOWERING SPRINGS VW Tiguan (5N) 07- E10-85-020-01-22

Hi, tigger73. I'll check when I get home tonite, but it was an eBay seller out of the UK.
They were about 20 bucks cheaper than out of the states, inc. freight.

Thanks MGV.
Hope you didn't mind me pinching your picture - just thought it was good to post one here too as it'll likely get "lost" in the Tig picture thread in the future.
Did you price up the springs here or are they just too expensive to buy locally?
The US guys prices are better but freight costs from the US are a killer.
I'll probably have to find someone locally to get these fitted.

tigger73, i tried pricing locally, but after wasting a couple of hours, i got the *****s & just bought them off ebay seller mjd128. I probably should have looked a bit harder...
The part number is exactly as you have written above & price was AU$322.45, p&h AU$132. Pedders charged me $440 to fit including a 4 wheel alignment. They seemed to know what they were doing, but over-tightened my wheel nuts way more than necessary, & scuffed up the paint on my wheels also...
Hope this helps, good luck!
