Thread: Lorinser 17x8 wheels on new Golf VI,

    Had a look and even 205/40/17 tyres dont meet the standard load ratings. They are only rated at 84 whereas you need at least 91. Its up to u whether u run them or not but in my mind the $40k insurance risk isnt worth it.

    Standard tyres are 225/45/17 or 225/40/18.

    215/45/17 would be fine on a 17x8" wheel.
