Hi all,
Im considering buying some lightweight wheels for my car, specifically Sparco Assetto Gara in 18x8. These wheels were developed in conjunction with O.Z. Wheels, and they are marketed as a track wheel. I have no intentions to track the car at this stage but really like the look of these rims.
I travel on some rough country roads at times, and these wheels will inevitably come into contact with the odd pothole. Will this type of wheel (or lighweight track wheels in general) be more susceptible to cracking and/or damage compared to the OEM 18 inch Talladegas?
Any help much appreciated
bent and cracked my oz racing ultraleggera when i hit a pothole, got it fixed and rerolled.
getting an alignment tomorrow, so its time to see if any are bent since last time i checked
