Thread: KW's Who can service.

    How old are they? I thought they had like a 2 year warranty, might be wrong though.

    Are they fully rebuildable? I've often wondered about their lifespan and whether they can be rebuilt, repacing them would hurt $$$. ie, I remember reading something about most street driven cars over 5 years had faulty dampers and they should be replaced, how long are KW's expected to last?

    I've always wondered do you have to get them serviced or something? I've got v2s in mine..?

    its prob cheaper to buy a new set than have them serviced bilstein do service there coils tho it cant be that bad,

    Dragon did answer my email this time & informs me that they cannot be rebuilt in Australia at this stage, he is getting back to me on a price for a single damper.
    Hang on, the answer just came in = $814.00 to the door.

    yeah but thats due to the ****house dollar

    i just ordered some parts, $64US then to paypal to his 96 australian dollars.. WTF!!!!!!!!

    euro would be 10x worse

    100.00 AUD = 53.0534 EUR

    1 AUD = 0.530534 EUR 1 EUR = 1.88489 AUD

    im spewing cuz i was gonna grab a forge fmic but after the conversion its over $2k+ here.. very nasty infact! not impressed with my lazyness lol
