Might as well ask in this thread as it's about KWs.
I looked up the lowering range of all Kw models (v1, v2, v3, clubsport). They all state lowering range of around 1.4 inches, but have you guys found that each model varies in how low it can go? I've heard clubsports can go up to 50mm. I'd like to know if V1's would be any similiar or am I limited to around 35mm?
KW V1, V2, and V3 should lower the same amount. For that matter, probably the KW Comfort. KW Clubsport has different springs/spring rates and camber plates, so may vary. 10-35mm is generally the norm for lowering range form last reading the KW PDF. The Golf may have some variance in the chassis in terms of height. For instance, the variance at the rear of my old MKV GTI was 8mm left to right - which effectively reduced my ability to go to the lowest or highest threads by 8mm. In my case, I wanted to go as high as possible in the rear and did so on one side, but had to leave 8mm on the other side due to the variance.
Cheers.
