I have ecstas on my Audi, well over half worn in 12 months but they are soft. Never get to drive the car usually except weekends. No complaints about noise due to loud exhaust and 2 kids.......

Also have Nexen 3000s on the Ibiza and they are really good, not had any moments with them yet and they have had a few good work outs!!

    Cheap too, which is nice.

I can say that I used to use brand new Kumho PowerMax's for burnout comp's & never lost using these tyre's.

    Kumho's SMOKE hard.

But apart from that, I wouldn't have a clue as to their other characteristic's.

I also had Kumho powermax's on my gti and they've been great, grip and handle well in dry and wet and smoke up a treat They lasted me well.

Have a pair of OLD yokohamas(509's) on the front end of my gti at the moment and it handles like a bucket. NO grip at all.

well,,got the KUMHO's (ill get the type later for u guys).paid $150 ea at TEMPE tyres(arrggghhhhh).
Was raining this morning and the tyres were still new.Grip in the wet was good! and this arvo it was sunny and the grip in the dry was very good, comparable to my conti 2's!. No cabin noise from the fronts and to be honest ,I can hear my rear conti 2's over the fronts.
I was quoted $375 for pirrelli p-o nero but $700+ for 2 tyres is crazy.
Ill keep you guys up to date how the KUMHO's are going.
