Hi,
I am looking at getting some alloy wheels for my wife's Golf VI 90tsi. I am after a multi-spoke design in 17" x 7.5" and will be fitting 225/45R17 tyres. The car's colour is Silver Leaf, I'm not sure if polished alloy or some other finish would suit it best.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.
Cheers,
Dave.

Avoid cheap reps - they're generally heavy as all hell (affects handling, acceleration, braking) and often poorly made.
Nothing to see here...
My experiences with Tempe in the past haven't been so great.
I really doubt his wife wants the steering in the car made heavier with less feel...

80,000km 1997 MK3 VR6 manual for sale - www.vwwatercooled.org.au/forums/f23/80-000km-1997-manual-vr6-nsw-sydney-67658.html
I did some research before buying the RS4 reps for my passat. They are made by reputable brands
They are probably lesser known brands sold in Australia like HR Racing and PDW. I was told unless you do track days, the quality will be just fine.
I bought them from Donnellans, Melbourne as a package. At least I know who to go to if it cracks.
Anyway, my passat 07 V6 multispoke wheels are up for sale if you are interested. Comes with Conti SportContact 2 (50% thread left)
Ive been chatting to a site in UK who do freight forwarding, useful for buying parts, rims etc ex UK, where the seller won't ship to Australia.
their address is http://ukbrandsworldwide.com
theyve quoted me around £190 to forward a set of 4 rims to Oz, with delivery of 2-4 days, all insured etc. they are currently researching a more economical freight.
In the meantime, take a look around ebay uk etc and see if there's anything there that catches your eye - might give you a much bigger range annd a better price/quality?
also www.tirerack.com wil freight wheels and tyres ex USA to Oz, for around US$200 so worth having a look at their extensive range of options

I like ASA and Lavinhard so far.
