    Ground Control Camber Tops

    Hi gang,

With the plans of my Mk3 becoming a dedicated track car ill need some camber tops.

One of the rules of the class (Improved production) the strut tower can not have any metal romoved or added or be modified any any way. Extra holes can drilled that still retain the OEM configuration.

These GC camber tops fit the bill.

Nay one have any experiences with them? Thoughts etc...

Interesting - I had bought their coilover sleeve kit before but their camber top plate was still in the prototyping stages. Do these use their own custom strut mounts?

I can understand you wanting some camber adjustment at the tops for changing camber at the track, but otherwise I can only recommend the camber adjusting bolt that pedders can sell you for the mk3. Gives you lots of adjustment and is a suitably strong enough bolt for the application.

I can go from about +1.5 to -5 degrees of camber with the bolt (from wheel alignment meaurements).

I used to have those, and also the ball-joint connection under the steering knuckle can be used for camber adjustment too. Only problem is you'll need to have the car jacked up and wheels off. Camber tops would allow on-the-fly (relatively anyway) adjustment.
