    yeah don't really want an open wheeler, flush would be nice.
    cool thing about the stud design on a mk1 is i can at least sit the rims against the hub and see how the offset will be.

    you know, its might not be much more work to instead of getting the wheels modified, get your hubs modified instead. it would be an easy job to have the drums drilled at 4x110 and tapped, likewise with a pair of front hubs.... because its 4-stud you have no interference problems. and the disks... well thats easy, they arent tapped.

    just a though - i mean, you've picked this GLD up and it probably needs a lot of work anyway - so if your gonna do the front wheel bearings anyway, you'll have the hubs out

    not a bad plan mate, and probably less dodgy than spacers or redrilling
