Thanks James! im stoked with the progress also , I have a few items on order including a grill, though not the bonrath, it the one that Big Ron has with the lower spoiler :

    and yes its ma daily

I actually blew the diff in ma VR6 so that has forced it off the road, once i get the jetta to a reasonable state that im content with ima start workin the VR

My plans are to attend the vw nats next year with the jetta towing the VR as it wont be road legal will see how I go? just need t buckle down n save!!!!

That's some good **** there Alex! x2 on the flaring cost - I hate the bloody rubbing.

Could you take some under-the-fender pics? I'd like to see how the other side of the fender looks like.

will do ray, just as soonz as i buy my new digi!

it costed $1200 . . . would've been a lot cheaper in fiberglass though. . . it was sumfin like 350 a side for the flaring and 250 a side for a lick of paint . . . cheers for the positive comments

depends how much your sticking out? rolling the guards wont flare them, it mearly rolls that horizontal lip inside the arch back up on itself; You can have them pulled but thats only minimal cuz if you pull it too far it can suck in the rear quarter . . .
