Good to hear the news is getting out.

Remember that Rubal is only able to offer these prices because he orders these tyres in bulk. Most of the local dealers will be charging retail rates with a small margin for discount because they will be ordering in 1 x set for the job.

So don't expect your local dealer to get anywhere close and don't ask them to price match either as this only causes issues for Rubal. At the moment he's able to get some reasonable discounts from Goodyear Aus for bulk quantities, but if the other dealers all complain then it could end up getting canned... which is not what anyone wants.

So if you want some top quality tyres at competitive prices to the likes of tirerack, Ozzy, etc then give Rubal a call.

    Analysed like an accountant.

Ironically it was my colleague who got stuffed around by one of the Aussie discounters that resulted in me stepping in and seeing what I could do - between tyres and a set of OZ wheels I've saved him a lobster short of $1k this week.

Some of the super sharp pricing was due to promotional benefits that ended 30/4 as my mate ordered from Rubal on the last day. Unless there's been another adjustment since then the going rate on 225/40/18s should be around $756.

As per Dutch there were a few 4 for 3 specials running the last couple of months. Try pricing these up somewhere else and I'm sure you'll be pushing closer to $300 a corner.

Hi Tigger, great job on this thread. Been a while since it was updated and just seeing if you knew of any more sales?

Currently looking around for a new set of 235/40/18's for my R36. Got probably <3k left on them so on the hunt. In the mean time might contact Rubal to see also. Seems like quite a few in here where happy with the prices/service

If you get some current prices feel free to post them up.

If you're in Melb they will fit them too. For everyone else you'll have to ship and get fitted locally.
