    Good price on Goodyear Tyres

I'm in the market for some new tyres soon and thought I'd pass on some good deals on Goodyear tyres that I've come across the other day.

    225/40r18 Goodyear F1-D5's 92Y - $170 + shipping.
    235/40r18 95Y Goodyear F1 Asymmetric 2's - $170ea + shipping.
    245/40r19 98Y Goodyear F1 Asymmetric 2's - $235ea + shipping.

Up until the 24th December there's also a bonus $100 prepaid EFTPOS card on purchase of 4 tyres.

Yes great tyre and unbeatable price. 19's for around $200 a corner for a premium tyre is a great buy.

You'll just have to buy a set of 19's to fit the tyres to. Problem solved

Quality is most important thing in buying tyres from anywhere. Me and my wife also looking forward to replace my DYLAN8 01 Bora's tyres. I read out interesting and informative ideas. Prices are also good. Sure will must be replaced it in future as soon as possible.

tyres have a useful shelf life, typically around 4-5 years.

so when buying, also check the date stamp on the tyre

make sure you are getting nice fresh stock, not something discounted because its been sitting on a shelf too long

Absolutely! The ones above are fresh Goodyear stock (2013 manufacture) and are purchased through an Australian Goodyear dealer. That's why they're such a good deal.

Certainly some of the online retailers will sell "old" stock at bargain basement prices. If they are reputable they will usually let you know if you're buying "clearance" tyres. These will typically not come with any manufacturer warranty/guarantee.

the warranty is one thing, but old rubber loses its properties and will no longer handle/brake well

you can always ask what the production code is before clicking 'yes'. that's what i did when i bought tyres online many times from local and overseas sellers.

once they confirm and ensure i get what they say i will get, i keep records of the details for evidence in case of any dispute, then i make the payment via paypal which gives good buyer protection (not so for seller protection).
