Federal 595-RSR cold pressures for track work on Golf R

    Hi Guys

I have a Golf R and just put on a set of Federal 595-RSR. I am wondering what cold pressures I should run for some track work?

    Cheers
    Paul

Federal 595-RSR cold pressures for track work on Golf R

    Hi Paul

I found these went up 10psi depending on track temps when they warmed up. With that in mind and that they seemed to be at the optimum temps at around 38psi you might start them at around 30-32 for Happy Laps. Check pressures after your laps to get a better idea.

Keep an eye on these tyres, they sometimes tend to open up across the tread when driven hard....from experience
