Can you take the T1R back? In a huge & comprehensive survey of 2 mates - both have thought them crap - very "unprogressive" eg: they grip like billy-o then let go without any warning.
One of my mates is famous for driving until his tyres a bald & then going another 5,000-10,000km but he changed out the T1Rs on his MX5 when they were only 50% worn - near broke his heart. He now runs Federal SS535 on the MX5 (and Falken RT615 on his Liberty FWIW).

The Falken ZE-512 doesn't look too bad but it reminds me of the Dunlop SP Sport 01 which is rubbish.

I've heard that FK-452s are spectacular in the wet but tend to go off quickly once they get a bit of wear. Amazing wet tyre but not particularly flash in the dry apparently.

I had Falken ST-215s on my Liberty and they were as noisy as h3ll past about 50%. Swapped to a set of Yokohama A.Drive R1s and couldn not have been happier.

I went through two sets on my Subaru Liberty (205/50-16) and they have got to be one of the best value, quietest and best performing tyres I have ever had. So comfortable and grippy, quiet, and positive in the wet. A great package and only $159 F/B.

If you want to do some track work then how about RT615s? There a good 50:50 tyre. Or Bridgestone RE001 aren't over the top expensive.

I have had 392s for less than two years and they have already worn out. The tyre place that sold them to me at my request as I have been a fan of Falkens since their release in the early nineties, won't stock them any more. I was considering going to the new 912s, but have decided to put Bridgestone Adrenalin RE00 on all round in December. Size 185/60/14

    ZE329 ??????

I think the Bridgestone RE001 will be way better than ZE329 but a close thing with the FK452
