Is there any visible ride height difference?
I have just performed a little mod on my c5 allroad air suspension, and wanted to record here how it came about.
There has been a product available for the allroad to extend the sensor linkages for the air suspension for some time. (see Ipp suspension arms).
I saw some pictures of these but looking at them thought I might be able to do a better job.
I took some measurements of the stock sensor arms and modelled them in 3D cad.
I then designed an extension piece for the stock arms which could be 3D printed in abs plastic. I designed it to clip in place, so no fasteners required.
I also decided to add 2 extension positions, so they could be used to extend the range of air suspension travel either a moderate amount (25%), or a lot (40%).
I printed 4 the other day and I fitted them to my car tonight. Installation took about 5 minutes for the rear and 10 minutes for the front (sinve I put the car up on ramps for easier access)
Heres some pics of the front drivers side install..
All these do is decrease the angle through which the sensors move for any given amount of suspension travel... Therefore increasing the overall travel range.
If anyone is interested in buying a set, pm me.
The parts will clip onto the level sensor arms for c5 and c6 Audi's. May fit others too.
