    Et20?

So im stuck and undecided. 15x7 et20 front and rear without spacers, on a mk1 with guard trims. If i want any kind of lows im going to need some guard rolling y/n?

Unsure if i'd go as small as 165/45, but say i went that way, problems still?

    EDIT: 14x6.5 +15...thats equivellant to 15x7 +25 give or take a few y/n?

    depends how low you go.

You'll get it pretty low becuase of the fair amount of stretch, but if you don't want to have any issues at all, I'd out ya hammer and flatten those lips.

7et20 and 6.5et15 will be the same outer position, more room inside on the 6.5s.
^ Those two compared, the 6.5et15 may give more issues as there is less width to stretch tyre.

Best bet is to use one of the offset calculator against your existing wheels, one persons idea of fitting is not the same as the next persons

Thanks guys. Calculator can only do so much for me though, because the cars currently on fixed suspension and i have no means of knowing where it will sit with its current set up if it were dropped (unless i got suspension first). In saying that too D90 wheels with 50+ offset aren't the best to run off either.

Good point regarding the 6.5's dylan, thanks. Upside i figure is looks of 14 and the fact it can 'look' lower on them anyway. Im assuming guard rolling won't effect fitment of guard trims? Looks like they just screw on...

EDIT: Google isn't helping at all...im stuck here, i really want these 14x6.5 +15, but it seems as though my tire choice might be the make or break of it. 165 might be a bit too much stretch for my liking and for the rims by the sound of it, any ideas?

narrrow tyres choices suck for 14" wheels. good luck finding something that'll "look good" I think there is onyl 1 size worth fitting IIRC.

get suspension first, cause that does affect fitment.

just depends how you roll the gaurds, get your head under there, look at what you're going to roll, and where the mounting points are for the arches, tis not rocket science, pretty straight forward. worse comes to worse, you could fit them with some sikaflex.
