225 40 18 & 18x8 offset +45, you will rub on hard cornering unless you do fender screw mod.
235 40 18 tyres will just make it rub more frequent.
$250 delivered is cheap, but labour to fit them professionally would be >$350 + wheel alignment cost.
I'm looking at a set of Eibach Sportline springs for my GT TDI, part number is E20-85-014-02-22. Can get them for $250 delivered, good price?
I'm wondering if I will get much rub with these springs with 18" wheels. They are +45 18x8 and I currently have 235 tyres.
I get a bit of rub in the back at the moment but I think that it might just be the 235 tyres? I will swap back to 225 when I put the springs on.

And with the fender screw mod? I've already done it. The 235's rub at the back and not at all on the front.

Anyone running Sportlines with 18x8 +45? Surely!
