    difference between contisportspack2 and contipremiumcontact2

    Both come in 205/55 R16 91V , slight price difference, sports2 $129 compared to $115 for premium.

Preferred to go again with the sportspack2 as Im now siting on 140,000km on original tyres but they are
out of stock and rego coming up in a week.

So would anyone know the difference between the two.

    Thanks Neil.

Renewed with the contipremiumcontact2 , only difference is the sports is lower profile .
    tread looks same,
The premiums made a big difference to road noise compared to noisy sportscontact .

Front and back wheel alignment at Heasmans , only found the camber slightly out so will
be interesting to see if these match the sports for distance.

If they are both 205/55r16 then there is no difference in profile.

I have just picked up a new manual Polo 81TSI Comfortline with the ContiPremium Contact 2 in 185/60 15 size as standard. They are unbelieveably quiet for road noise, even better IMO than the standard Michelin EnergySaver that has come standard on our manual Golf 90TSI mk7 205/55 16 size.
In fact the Polo seems quieter everywhere than the Golf including engine noise. I'm stunned by it all considering the renowned quietness of the mk7 Golf.
I've also noticed all Polo 77TSI's came with the 195/55 15 size tyres which are slightly smaller in rolling circumference - about 1%. Anyone know why the change with newer Polo version?
