CV Joints - VR6

Hi,

After some suggestions as to the best place to buy CVs (or full driveshafts).
I got a price for a LH Outer (for my '96 Passat VR6) at $175 or thereabouts locally.
It seems that you can get whole driveshafts (with both inner and outer CVs fitted) from the US for <$90 + shipping from places like Rapidparts. Does anyone have any opinions / suggestions on where is best to buy from?

When the inner CV joint went on my VR6 I just got a whole new driveshaft from german auto parts. I'm assuming you've got a passat vr6 - GAP

I don't remember the postage costs, but I do remember buying a whole drive axle shipped from the USA was cheaper than the cost of buying a single inner CV locally. Most times I don't ever bother looking locally, waste of time!
