    Curbed alloys

I recently kerbed my precious Detroits (don't ask how) and I'm spewing! I've asked a couple of businesses and they can't "fix them up" because they are "machined". I suspect that this is going to be very costly. Is there anything that I can do myself with the correct tools (I'm thinking Bunnings or SCA) to reduce the pain each time I look at them?

Although the location isnt relevant to you, see here for an example of a Newcastle based wheel repairer and how they fixed scratches on the machined wheels on a GTD. I also had this guy fix some scratches on my painted Golf R rims and he did an awesome job.

Rim repairer in Gosford, Newcastle area

So the machined wheels can be fixed quite well it seems. See if you can find a wheel repairer in Perth.

Already tried and he doesn't / can't do the machined finish of the Detroits.
