Prevention better than cure, so fit low dust brake pads (I've got Wagner pads on my rear brakes and they are 90% better than the OEM).
Claybar and wax / seal the rims and you're set.

I used to think I was anal-retentive until I started getting involved in car forums
I used the Meguiar's spray bottle wheel cleaner on my factory 16s, worked amazingly well for the hardened dust. It's some kind of acid - you need to keep it away from the calipers.
I'm sticking with the OEM pads. They put out a lot of dust but they never squeal and I think they're pretty easy on the rotors.
