    Chicago 18" Wheels - R36

Just out of curiosity, does anyone know why the Chicago 18" wheels aren't available as an option for the R36?

I would suggest the fact that the R36 already comes standard with 18" wheels. Nothing to say that you can't put them on though...
Maybe they have different offset / widths etc.

    Nice wheels though!

    Just my thoughts...
MY18 VW Passat Alltrack Wolfsburg Edition + Panoramic Sunroof + some extra goodies... (Pure White)
MY17 ŠKODA Superb 206TSI 4x4 + Sunroof + Tech Pack + Comfort Pack + some extra goodies... (Moon White)

    Name: Chicago
    Size: 18" X 8"
    Bolt Pattern: 5 X 112mm
    Offset: 44mm
    Part Number: 3C0 601 025 T
    Bare Rim Weight:
    Found On: 2008 V6 Eos
    Center Cap Part Number: 3B7 601 171

    Should fit okay.
I guess since they are for the eos, they decided to go with sagitta wheels for the passat as they look teh same but are larger.

I think that they're really nice wheels (nothing wrong with Omyants either), when I enquired with the dealer he said it couldn't be done and the brochure repeats that as well

I believe it can be done.
They seem to be the same offset and everything as the omanyt's on the .:R36 so i don't see a problem.
You might want to check what the specs are for the stock wheels though to make sure they clear the brake pads.

Just go through ebay/another dealer/the internet if you really want them.

My car wont be delivered until the end of March, I'll see how much I like the standards once I have the car in the flesh and then check out the Chicago option, also saw some really nice BBS rims on the Jax website as well...too many choices...LOL

Just be aware that BBS Wheels are going to be horribly expensive through Jax.

Best bet it to go through www.tirerack.com as they have them cheap and shipping isn't too bad.
Will still end up about $1000 under the price that Jax will offer you and gives you the ability to get a set of good quality rubber as well.
