Hi all... Does anyone know if there is any camber adjustment in the 6n1 polo? It has a fixed top mount much like the 6R does so I suspect the answer is no? The reason why I ask is that I bought my brother in law a 6n1 the other week, and have since found that it’s had a hit in the front drivers side (the driver side door is purple underneath its white exterior and the front strut is from a wrecker (as it has RHF POLO written in typical wrecker pink posca pen being the tell-tale giveaway . If you look at it from the front you can see clear as day that it has some negative pronounced camber on it.
I have replaced the strut and strut mount with new ones in case they were the issues but that is not it. Given I have 2 cars that I can take parts off, what affects the camber? Aside from some severe chassis damage which after having a look around I cannot see any (not to say there isn't any of course) Should I look at removing the hub and lower control arm assembly or such like?
It drives okay, so the toe seems to be fine, just the camber is off and as a consequence, chewing out the inside of the tyre nicely.
My Car(s): 2011 6R TSI Comfortline (Pepper Silver),
If you're in need of any 6n1 parts, odds are that I am going to have them (dismantling 2 at the moment)
