Best place/way to buy VW OEM wheels?

Looking for OEM VW wheels to suit the Tiguan, 18" New Yorks or 19" Savanah's

    Can anyone help?

The dealers are claiming $3k with tires for only 4 wheels! Sounds like too much to me.

For new genuine wheels i'd say that price would be right, i remember the 16s on my mums focus were 'added' and even they were costly even though they were included in part of a deal.

Best bet is to look for someone who has upgraded the wheels on there Tigan and is willing to part with them i guess... or replicas?

    Good luck!

    Hey,

Me too i love the 19" savannah wheel with the darker backs and machined face......and the only place i found so far is vw dealers and ecs tuning

    http://www.ecstuning.com/Search/Whee...9491/ES259491/

Hell expensive though it is still better than the $4900 VW quoted me for them when i ordered my tiguan.....$3000 is way better where abouts did you get that price?

OEM Plus don't have them but they stock heaps better looking oem wheels.

They also include the Sagitta wheels which are fairly similar to the Savanah's with black infills.

    Hi,

Anyone done the 19' Savannahs yet?
What tyres did you run and how much?
Do they stick out from the line of the top of the wheel arch on the body of the car?
Do they scrub out on full lock?

    Cheers

From memory they haven't passed ADR compliance and aren't allowed to be sold by VW Dealers.

    you would run 255/40R19 tyres.
They wouldn't stick out or scrub

Not sure of the quality of Replicas but my son bought some M5 replicas for his E39 BMW. They look good & rides well.

He got them from Tempe Tyres in Sydney as a package. I've checked out their website as I am thinking about new wheels for my Jetta. They have their pricing on the site but don't stipulate what rubber

Unless you really need them, i wouldn't go with Tempe.
They have been known to use old tyres in their packages.

Miro, hartmann and raderwerks do very nice wheels, unique style and shipping is cheap as with the AU$ so high at the moment.
