either that or melt it down to build cheap replicas, that steel is worth some coin when scrapped xD
Just caught up on this thread, shame about the repair job but lucky for that you Beaurepairs replaced them.
I think, examining the photos and knowing a little about Neway, is that the dullness was a result not of imperfections in the repair but with the clear coat job.
Neway does't have a proper paint booth, they probably just sprayed it in the open and left it as done, which means that allot of dust, dirt and oil residue gets sucked up and sprayed onto the wheel.
If you ever get them repaired again, perhaps go through someone who has a proper paint booth set up and just sends them out for the lathe but paints and cleans them in a proper environment.
