    16" BBS wheels for vr6

I bought a set off bbs wheels yesterday 16x6.5 offset 40 in 5x114.3. One piece wheels and come off nissan, and they vere cheap.they can be re-drilled to 5x100 quotes from $150 to $220. Are the wheels specs good for adapters or i will be pushing them out to much? if i buy adapters i was thinking leter if i would like to change the wheels there would be more different wheels to chose from as finding i nice wheel to suit vr6 stud pattern almost impossible.
    cheers

You could quite happily run a 20mm adapter and have them sitting flush with he guards, may have to roll them ever so slightly, depending on the tyre you run (195/40 or 45 would work).
5x114.3 leaves you with an endless choice of pretty sick cheap Jap wheels thats for sure

These guys do them (in the States) but will happily ship to Australia.

+1 for these guys. I just received my adapters in the mail. Ordered on Christmas, shipped on the 7th, arrived yesterday. I got two pairs, and it amounted to ~$430AUD shipped.

    thanks guys,
this is what i have found http://cgi.ebay.de/H-R-Lochkreisadap...#ht_2175wt_991
are they original H&R? is that price for set or only one?
the site that you are refering to has no products on it so i guess you have to contact them for specs and prices?
by the way should i use 20mm adaptor on all wheels or biger, the wheels are only 6.5 wide.

    Wink

I just stumbled across your post and had a look at the German Ebay website link and thought I'd help out since I speak German quite well (after having lived there for 5 years).http://www.vwwatercooled.org.au/newf...ons/icon12.gif

The price is for 2 adapters, so for 4 wheels you will need 2 sets, however they say they only ship within the EU.

This guy is interesting, he is offering adapters in any configuration, so custom made, for 100 Euros for 2 adapters, and he's indicating he ships to Australia.

    Hope that helps.

they are my new wheels bbs cg19 off nissan. thanks for the translation. this is what i got from the guys in the states:
    Hey there Mick,

    Thanks for the email!

We can do the 57.1 wheel and hubcentric 20mm 5x100->5x114.3 Adaptec adapters for USD$160 per pair including all special hardware needed for installation. Shipping to Sydney will be USD$65 to your door via USPS.

Just let me know your thoughts and I'll do my best to make sure you are taken care of. Thanks again Mick and have a great day!

Not so sure what to to with them, as i did confirm with neale wheels that they can re-drilled them, but with 6.5 wide and 40 offset i am going to look for spacers again to make them look good.spacers or adapters i will be crossing the line with law i am only considering witch is the better way to do it.
i am looking to paint them lite gold with small polished lip.and the wheels do stick out a bit out off the lip.
    cheers

At least now you can pull the spacers off IF you get done and still run the wheels.

I can't imagine it being a big problem though...

Can't wait to see them on
