Depending on suspension they may rub especially at the front. Its too hard to tell until you put tires on there and fit them.

    Smile hey nice

yea probably will rub front and rear, will def need spacers, a really low profile and maybe have to pump out the guards on the rear. Ive got 9.5" on my T4 and the just clear maybe 10mm or less with 8.5" on the front no problem given the big wheels arches and height. Have u got these wheels? pics?

    Hey 99gti

You say you don't rub in the fronts with 8.5? You're running 35 offset right? What size tyres?

How low are you exactly? I want to put 19s on my car but the few wheels that come in the right offset and 5x100 are mostly 8.5 wide. Car is currently on 17x8s and rubs on turns, but I am quite low so i expect that. I don't care for rubbing as long as I can still drive the car lol.

Does anyone know if the tyres on a wheel that is 8.5 will be wider than tyres on an 8 inch wide wheel? Or are the same tyres used?

Because if they're the same tyres, I could be in business here

I'm fairly low... Low enough to be constantly pulling off my front spoiler

I'm running 215/35/19's on the fronts. These are probably too low profile, next time I'll go 215/40/19's
