    Anyone used Kumho Ku19's?

As the title suggests, looking for any info about this tyre.

I am in the market for a set of 245/45/18 97Y tyres, and it looks like the kumho's go for around $160 each online, which is pretty reasonable.

Since they are for the allroad and I'm not hugely concerned with performance, I thought they look pretty good for the money.

Really just want to know if anyone in the local VAG community has anything bad to say about them particularly.

I want to get good km out of them, with reasonable wet grip and overall toughness being other factors. Not too worried if they arent a super grippy dry tyre. Quietness will be a bonus.

ive got a brane new set on my golf r

in the past have used kumho KU36's on my TT supra and they gripped great in wet and dry

went with the kumho KU19's for the golf as they got pretty good online reviews, and mainly, because they were cheap

got quoted $675 per tyre balanced and fitted for dunlops, $250 for the KU19's

they grip fine in the wet and dry, and have low road noise which were my main deciding factors

the only complaint i have, and some other online forum reviews say this as well, is that they have a soft sidewall, you can feel a bit of flex, wheras the stock dunlops did not have this. but as you can see from the price difference, its worth getting.

I ended up getting MOMO outrun M3's (made in china) for $160/corner fitted.

I am extremely pleased with them - they are quiet, comfortable and extremely grippy in the dry atleast (much better corner speed than a back to back comparison with a mates E34 wagon on KU31's) I've not had any wet weather to try them in the wet yet.
