Any other info other than the names? How many spokes? What model were they native to, Golf, Bora/Jetta or New beetle?

I know you are asking about them for a Golf, but I have these on my Polo

Not to hard to keep clean, not very common. Look best on a dropped car.

gavs i think they were an option on the new beetles and polos, 5x100 17x7.5 with 35 offset or thereabouts which would make them a perfect fit for a mkIV golf.

anyhoo i was looking to track down a set for my white mkIV GTI coz i wanted something OEM style which is a bit bigger than my montreal II's but not massive coz i plan to throw some coilovers in and i dont want the ride to be completely unbearable.

ironically i was even able to get VW parts cheap because i work at autonexus and we warehouse and distribute VW/audi (and subaru) parts but due to some industrial action we are no longer being afforded any favours ..and speaking of subaru, they have some really nice OEM wheels too and theyre also 5x100 but the offsets r more like 55 and apparently the centre bore hole is slightly smaller too (eaily remedied).

noone ur polo looks badass, perfect height

...and team_v mad link ..some mad alternatives back on the index page ..phaeton heilos wheels in particular, id suffer 19" ride for those if they fit with the appropriate adapters of course. i notice the one in that pic has 225s on it, thats about as wide as ud go on a mkIV isnt it? and at 45 offset would that be too close to the struts or inside guards when turning?

actually this would all be done the track a while, i just bought a set of bridgestone adrenalins because of this:
