    235/35R19 tyre recomendations...

Any thoughts? I'm preferring something quiet over performance and would prefer not to drop $600+ on each corner. Tire Rack have PZero Nero M&S for around $180us/corner however preference is to obtain locally. Cheers.

That particular tyre is an "all-season" tyre, as denoted by the "M+S" (mud + snow) label. The biggest market sector in North America, it is designed to work in dry, wet and light snow conditions, so they are compromised in dry/wet grip (which the American consumer accepts) in exchange for traction in light snow.

Europe, Asia and Australia mainly use "summer" tyres, which don't work in the snow at all, as the Brits found out in their unseasonably snowy winter! Countries like Germany, Switzerland, Austria, Russia, Japan, etc. mandate real, proper "winter" tyres, denoted by a snowflake label on the sidewall. So nobody outside of North America uses all-season tyres.

Anyway, in terms of overall performance, value-for-money and low noise, the Hankook Ventus S1 evo (well rated by German sportscar magazines, particularly the bigger sizes) or the Sumitomo HTR Z III (which also compare well in a Tire Rack test) are a much better compromise I think. I have a feeling that you would be sacrificing too much performance by using all-season tires.

Factor about USD 250 ~ 350 in shipping fees, but at USD 134 for the Sumitomo's they're fantastic value! But do indeed ask for quotes locally first and see how you go from there.

After much reading on the net I'll most likely go for the Hankook Ventus S1 Evo. I've previously had the K104's and they were a great tyre and not expensive.
