does that sticks out of the guard? have fun cleaning the side of your car after a short drive even in the light rain....

modifying only fun while it last, u lost most of the money spent when you sell the car... I lost $35k in depreciation of a $23k car+$12k mods on my R33, and $15k in depreciation of a $31k car+$9k mods on my V35... that's $45k down the drain over the past 10 years, which could be preventable if I didn't mod my 2 previous cars...

The current golf might see almost no mods, since I'm leasing, so I'll always remind myself everytime I was gonna reach for my wallet on mods, that: until I paid off the $20k balloon payment in 2013, the car is NEVER mine, so why bother mod it? I'll probably just change some white halogen bulbs or cheap accessories here and there just for a bit of personal 'amusement', but definitely not gonna be anywhere near what I spent on the previous 2 cars...

Not sure how that's possible, as they are in storage at the RTA.

If you value comfort above all else then why go for 19's? I like the wheels but without a lowering it just looks like a joke. Kind of reminds me on a monster truck they way it looks now.

hahahaha. this post made me smile. appreciate that mate, but you've just made yourself sound like a complete retard. firstly you've obviously never seen a monster truck before, clearly! secondly, to be honest with you mate, the stock height the car sits at now is lower than most cars on the road. soooo pretty much every car on the road is a monster truck to you and is a joke? except for your own im guessing

i value looks and performance above anything else, hence why the car has been chipped and intake done, and now the wheels done. any idiot could have figured that out. but because of the k's i do each day i need to keep comfort as high as possible. FYI, i'm actually surprised at the comfort of the car now, it feels no stiffer than before and looks 100 times better..... well obviously not to you.

i had H&R spring in my Polo GTI and it was a nightmare, so stiff and bounced around everywhere. Thought they were awesome the first few weeks of them but got sick of them very quickly, it actually hurt to drive on anything less than a perfect road. Hope yours are treating you better. I know I certainly would never buy cheap H&R's again.
