I'm very tempted by these:
0.06 - Collection / 3SDM Wheel Co
The smallest size they have is 18x8.5 ET42 vs the stock Seattle 17x7 ET51
The numbers look like this:
So this is the same size tyre that comes on the 7.5" Detroit but stretched over that extra 1".
I'm not a huge fan of stretch...
Anyone got a pic 225/40R18's on 8.5" rims so I can see what I would be in for?

I don't think the 225s on 8.5 look stupidly stretched - in fact they suit that style of wheel. There will be loads of pics in the wheel threads (typical VMR fitment) or try tyrestretch.com
More importantly you'll need to tuck the wheels unless you want to run the risk of visible poke (or does the cab have more wheel arch space?).

do you have Matty G on facebook Hawk? he has the same spec wheels and tyres (tyres are almost slicks I think so even wider) with a spring kit and they fit fine.
