    185 45 r15 on 8s

    looking at some tyres at the moment and il be needing some stretch
    would you run them? is it safe for a daily?

    That would be some nice stretch depending on the tyre, but not an easy one to find in that size!

    nankang NS2's are in that size. and will give you a real nice visible stretch, but not as crazy a stretch as 165's on an 8, like dom.

    do it.

    NS2's are like 120-130each.

    check it:

    15x8 et low with 185/45. same tyres are shown later on on my 15x7's.

    imo, 185 is great for an 8 with low offset,. for a mk 1! maybe you'll need 195/50 for a mk 3, unless you're super super low.

    195/45R15 is a better option for a VR6. You really don't need the extra tiny bit of stretch that a 185 gives you, and a 195/45 will get you plenty low enough.

    Alot of places wont sell you nagkangs because they are a terrible tyre.

    Tyre power in Thomastown is prity good for wierd tyres, thats where Dom gets his done and i got them to do the strech on mine.

    if they are a terrible tyre i may just go for a 195 as ray said
    plus if there more readily available there probably cheaper too
    and i do want to go fairly low

    I too would go a 195/45/15. Even a 195/50/15. The 50 series will have more options

    where do you guys buy tyres like these? are there specific nankang importers/distributors?

    i'd suppose they're specifically imported in/ordered.

    185/45 is actually pretty intense stretch for 15x8 for a daily.
