That would be some nice stretch depending on the tyre, but not an easy one to find in that size!
looking at some tyres at the moment and il be needing some stretch
would you run them? is it safe for a daily?
cheers pete

nankang NS2's are in that size. and will give you a real nice visible stretch, but not as crazy a stretch as 165's on an 8, like dom.
do it.
NS2's are like 120-130each.
check it:
15x8 et low with 185/45. same tyres are shown later on on my 15x7's.

imo, 185 is great for an 8 with low offset,. for a mk 1! maybe you'll need 195/50 for a mk 3, unless you're super super low.

195/45R15 is a better option for a VR6. You really don't need the extra tiny bit of stretch that a 185 gives you, and a 195/45 will get you plenty low enough.
195/45 is more readily available too
Alot of places wont sell you nagkangs because they are a terrible tyre.

Tyre power in Thomastown is prity good for wierd tyres, thats where Dom gets his done and i got them to do the strech on mine.

cheers for the comments guys
if they are a terrible tyre i may just go for a 195 as ray said
plus if there more readily available there probably cheaper too
and i do want to go fairly low
maybe these

im fair noob when it comes to these things
are these easy to get
I too would go a 195/45/15. Even a 195/50/15. The 50 series will have more options
where do you guys buy tyres like these? are there specific nankang importers/distributors?
i'd suppose they're specifically imported in/ordered.
185/45 is actually pretty intense stretch for 15x8 for a daily.
