Thread: VR6 - Still Stock

    VR6 - 'Stock Plus'

Yesterday, the car scored a little trip to the detailer.
Thanks very much to Dan of DMS Detailing for doing a great job on her.

She's still stock, apart from a set of new Bilstein B6, 'The shock absorber for those drivers who prefer a sports suspension but are not particularly interested in lowering the body' lol. Coveniently, the rear set were sourced from here on Watercooled. The fronts are courtesy of Pedders Mascot.

Aside from the shocks, the only changes are slightly uprated strut tops, R32 castor bushes from GAP and the addition of the deeper Euro-lip.

Just managed to snap these before it got dark after work.

Dude interior is as mint as the paint, very very nice. Dan sure knows how to do wonders to a car, I'm gonna chase up his mate Chris here in Brisbane for a detail on my mk2.

    Mod plans?

That's not fair, you cheated!! Dan's work is perfect, your car wasn't this good before he came about

Just joking. Fantastic example. When they're clean, black vr6's are the best colour by far, and this is no exception!

What was done to the interior? Or is it just good lighting on the leather and dash...

Interior wise, the upholstery was shampooed and the leather trim cleaned. A light protectant has been applied to the dash and interior plastics.

AusScare - No more mods in the pipeline atm. For now I'm really happy with the look and performance, as is. The plan is just to keep it all neat & clean.

Struck a pretty good balance between ride and handling by fitting the Bilsteins - things are firm but by no means harsh, which was always the plan.

Thanks to all for the feedback and comments - very appreciated : )
