What Lito said, those wheels were originally et35 before spacers and the front was grinding on the coilovers.
Have you checked the Mk4 wheel thread?

such an awesome car Slaj
Loving this car man. Ill be playing it safe with my MK4 and probably end up going 18x8.5 18x9.5 +30 all round or even +35 all round then space them out from there. Nothing too aggro but a touch of poke. Would be within the ballpark you think?
Also, with your FKs how far down are you wound on the front and rear in this pics you think? just so i have a rough guide to wind mine down for the suspension mob on monday as a base height to play with
Thank you for the king words Stiggy
You should be pretty fine with +30 and 5 to 10mm spacers, my 18's were 18x9 +35 all round originally. The rear poked just the right amount with 15mm spacers but the front was a little too aggressive, nothing a little negative camber couldn't fix tho.
With 18's I'd say wind the back all the way down, and I couldn't tell you exactly how far from the bottom my fronts were, but from memory it looked like I had about 100mm of play
Love it man, we need more hangs though. Have to get some pics soon.
