Okay, cool I'll probably just take my sway bar off for now, until I can afford to buy an FK one.
On another note, today I ordered a shift knob/boot as mine is really ratty. I also ordered a black VW emblem for my keyfob and a battery for the LED in it Coilovers are to be ordered tonight.

    Edit:
Yayyyyy Peep Motorsport's shipping cost was wrong on their web store, so it's an extra £80 ($120~) for what I want. Looks like it's going to have to wait, haha. I think they're still the cheapest out, and the guy was heaps nice about it so I wouldn't hesitate to order from them again.

****, I was just about to say: get the FK Street coilovers I got. Glad I listened to dylan8, and not gone just springs. Adjustability is key for ride and looks. I think mine landed were $418 shipped to my door, so happy with them. Adjusting the rears is an absolute bitch though (no hoist).

I got a wheel balance from pedders after adjusting my coilovers just before xmas, and swear that the back end doesn't 'hug' the corners like it did before. Am I trippin? Is there something they could've done? Or maybe I adjusted away from the sweet spot before giving it to them??

Ps nice ride, coming along nicely!

Woah, where did you get them for $418? Cheapest I could find were like $800-900 shipped. I guess shipping is a tad cheaper to Sydney than Perth, but not $400 cheaper :p

Not too sure on the ride, you'll have to ask someone else. If I've got it right, the lower you go, the harder your ride will be as the springs will be more compressed. Dylan should know

I ended up going the Ta Technix coilovers, as they adjust down to 120mm (double the FK Streets), so just more adjustability (I doubt I'll be running at -120mm very often, though! That's 21.5" ftg!)

Thanks, mate! Do you have a build/car thread?

Slam that thing!!!!!!! I have the same as dylan. Well they are hottuning, but I'm pretty sure its the same thing as just rebranded. They ride pretty harsh, but meh. Ya get that! I paid like $440. I'm riding 4x4 status atm as i have been defected. Super gay, goes over the pits on friday. Hopefully they are easy on me!

Yeah! Do you have a build/car thread undisclos3d? (Edit: found it , looks the goods!) Glad to hear you passed pits, too
I realise my coilovers aren't doing much sitting on my loungeroom floor, but with 40 degree heat every day, I haven't had a chance to install them! I think the temperature should dip sometime on Wednesday, so I'll do them then, I can't wait!

nar travel is the same no matter what height.
springs stay the same length, you are just lifting or lowering the position of the spring on these setups.
until you get to the point of the shock struggling either top or bottom is should be the same.

they still the 215/35/18s? man thats pretty low.
*waits for problems with drive shafts and chassis*
