Not quite sure how he has got away with the 16v head, but yes I am guessing that the Group 2 cars were all 1600 in this class.
Mine will be an 8v 1600 as there are a heap of freedoms granted to pre 1986 <1600cc two-wheel drive cars.

Possibly had the Oetinger motor? They produced a twin cam engine back then, thats what I stated originaly to get my car into road rallies.
