    R and R32

Went for a cruise through Kangaroo Valley today with a mate... so took some side by side pics. Each pic has a link that goes through to the full sized version.

My mate was actually pretty surprised at just how much faster the R was. Blasted past him in an overtaking zone (all within the legal, posted speed limit of course) and it was like he was standing still.

Has the R32 had suspension work? It looks lower roof line to roof line than the R.

That is what i was thinking too?
Also, the rear of the .:R looks lower as the valence doesn't cut up into the rear bumper as much.

Looking at it closely, I think you're right about the "fatter" look... I put that down to the R having body coloured panels that go all the way down, whereas the R32 has the black the entire width of the bottom of the rear bar.

Gotta say, I think they both look absolutely fantastic.

Were those photos taken at the Briars Inn (between Bowral and Moss Vale) by any chance? I used to live in the Highlands a few years back; that place does a good steak!

Indeed it was! Nothing like a huge, cook-your-own steak on a Sunday arvo
