Booked in at Fabraications (Australias leading rollcage manufacturer - FABRaiCATIONS) in 2nd week of Jan to get a half cage put in, still havent decided on the design yet

Might see what other custom stuff they can do too, but no $$ at the moment. Would be nice to see if they could do some modding the the front guards to alow wider rubber and maybe fabricate some adjustable control arms

Recaro Sportster CS's will be on their way from UK soon, they are out of a Renault Clio F1

Battery is now in the spare wheel well

This is really going to be the SICKEST Polo in the entire world haha.
I even think this is going to give that R36 Polo a run in the cool stakes. So much respect mate

Thanks, just going to keep going with it, seeing as i have put so much $$ into it

Want to build the kind of car i have always wanted, which will look tuff, be quick, handle, stop etc and have the best of everything.

Future mods will be 350+hp, LSD, hide the wiring, maybe smooth engine bay

Really interested in any ideas you may have for your roll cage design mate?

I love the Porsche cages (GT2, GT3) but they are very complicated.
I want the cage to stiffen the car but also want looks, before people bag me about wanting a cage for looks, i could have ordered a cheap "show" cage online for 1/3 of the price, instrad i am choosing to get a mob who make some of the best cages in the business to do it.

It cant be too complicated, i want to be able to take it out if i need to, so some of the braces will be removable, oh, also it will be powder coated gloss black

Yeah I hear you. I was just talking to Gav recently about the same things actually. I said I need it to brace up the rear strut towers as well as need a horizontal bar along the rear of the front seats to mount some 4 point harnesses. I haven't really gone much further in way of design so please keep us updated so I can pinch some ideas
