    Car looks tops mate.

IS hte new bug based on the mk4 platform. I ask as it looks lowered, and the change in suspension geometry has changed the castor settings (dragging that back wheel foward). I think?

thanks!... dunno what platform the new beetle was based on but probably the same as golf , its the same motor and gbox from the golf. 2.0L 5speed.... this is a 2003 that we've had since new.. so not sure what mk in golf terms.
its been lowered about 30mm. wheels are 18x7.5. has custom twin exhaust system (one pipe each side). altezza rear lights and twin reverse lights (got rid of the rear foglight).

74 bug was purchased in april 06 from a guy in warnambool...
here is what she looked like back then.

later that year we decided on a complete rebuild from the ground up.
she has a 1640cc motor which was built from the original 1300cc, discs all round, narrowed and lowered beam, fully redone interior including custom stereo install to hide it out of the way, headlining, seats, door cards, recovered padded dash, rear popout windows, and 15x5.5 black BRM wheels with 80's style tyres.
so now we try and keep her looking her best.
