It's a great car. It's gone to a good home so bear that in mind. They are getting fewer and fewer in that condition these days.
I sold my beloved '76 Mk1 the other day so I thought I'd just put up some photos to remember it by.
It was an all original (apart from a respray at some point I think) '76 Mk1 that was my reliable daily for over 6 years. When I got it the mileage was an original 15K km.

Indeed, I've had my turn and it's time to pass it onto someone who appreciates old Golfs and knows how to treat them. It would have been great to have as a weekend car or something, but I just can't keep it. A new chapter in life awaits.

I didn't really need to advertise it and I didn't need to work hard to sell at the right price. The new ower seems happy with it too.
And for what it's worth, it's gone to Victoria so you might, might get to see it in person some time.
