    Cheers guys. I think this will be the first of many photos.

    Today i put in an Xcarlink for ipod control. Didnt break anything and it all works.

    Tomorrow i believe my stubby aerial should arrive.

    Then what to do next.

    colour code, coilovers, swaybars, chip, induction, exhaust, turbo, old school or oem style wheels (with awsome offset), roofracks & some brembo/porsche brakes

    hahahahaaa

    looking awsome man cant wait to see more great photos and updates

    Well last week i went on my first real road trip 2000kms all up . I went from Bendigo VIC to near Batemans Bay NSW where i have some family. I went through thredbo on the way up and back through adaminaby on the way back.

    Anyway the GTI was fantastic in the mountains, Never missed a beat.

    I Averaged 9.1L/100km which included a tank of 95 instead of 98.

    Good to know you're enjoying the car! Fantastic photos, though I can't help but notice that you photograph the shadowed side of the car The candy white Mk5s are incredibly vibrant and bright, and I have troubles photographing them with the sun behind me!
