everyone thinks the CHs have been done to death but i disagree. sure maybe in the US but i can safely say im the only GTI in WA to have them, and there are only a couple people in the eastern states who have them on their cars too. i would say RS4 reps, huffs and OZ Ultraleggeras are far more common.

next thing on the cards is a drop, but im worried about rubbing with my ET50 offset

    LOWER!

what width are they? i'm pretty sure they're 8's and if thats the case with et50 you could drop it as much as you want without worrying about any serious rubbing. if they're 8.5's then you'd wanna not drop it more than 50mm at the front if you want to keep all rubbing away.

I don't disagree with everyone here, the car looks tits! It's just that every mk5 with these on look great but it gets boring.

mate, you found some! lol. ahh, the US/AUD fx rate is going to be up and down like a ho's knickers over the next 12-18 months, which means brand new CH's are a pipe dream for the short term.

check out the pic, these look like 19's, they seem just right, the 18's seem to look the same size as the stock 17's? what does everyone reckon?

    Cheers,

    D

they wouldnt fit a golf; that guy is on crack if he paid that much for wheels that have no hope in hell of being remotely drivable. they would stick out a full 4cm from the guards. they'd only suit an a4 or bigger.
