CL, I was wondering how did you go about fitting the tinted housing for the lights? Did you do it yourself?

I've been wanting to do the same thing for awhile I love the tinted look on the GT sport/GTI/r32 I think it looks great. I'm just not sure how to go about doing the mod. I.e would GTI headlights fit in a comfortline? Does yours have the leveling motor?

Sorry for the 20,000 questions, I've been looking around for info but haven't come across much.

hey cam, fitting it was no problem .... few annoying things to take off, but was basically just front bar about 4-5 mounting screws and she's off - mines got a levelling motor in it - it will only be adjusted manually inside the cabin next to the lights thats all i can adjust it...

the lights i got are fk housing ones they are the ones with the angel eyes built into it - had no problems with wiring or anything just plugged in was very straight foward.

    Thanks mate

Do you know if its possible to fit GTI headlights into the comfortline?
I'm thinking it might be easier to pick up a set of GTI/GT headlights and just fit those?

I came across this guide but it looks like a fair bit of stuffing around (with little to no margin for error)

yea it's possible to fit GTI headlights into a comfortline.... same way to install mine ... not hard at all .....

just get the right tools and your set.... i did also think about painting my standard headlights... but it is alot of messing around so i didn't go down that path as if i messed it up the car woulda stayed in the garage ...

and it's always good to have all the standard headlights incase you end up selling the car and u can sell the headlights off and get some cash back

let me know if u need any more help buddy
