Thanks Loon. Sometimes it's too sweet a job, like when you're covered head to toe in sugar dust, cocoa, choc etc and mix it with grease!!

Hey I found the engine. I thought it might have been in the back where all good donks should be but someone pointed out that it might actually be in the front. Dunno who put it there but it seems to fit ok!!!
All I found in the boot was a spare.....

Yeah gets along pretty well. Want get rid of the carb eventually and go injection and a 5-speed would be nice too! For the moment it's all good.

A reasoned discussion of the relative merits of front/rear engined cars could take place in "General Chat". In the meantime, this forum is the place for us to post pics of what we drive and discuss them with others.

Actually delux's car goes very well indeed.
When I owned it it was 2 seconds a lap faster than my current mk1 GTI around Baskerville Raceway and that was before I put the GTI brakes on it.
And the engine bay looks great too .
The BBS wheels are a nice touch as I just had the plain mk3 wheels.

    Thanks for removing the highjacker.
It started as a joke because all my other cars are rear engined. But I guess some people have trouble understanding that. I don't think it was neccesary to have a whole seperate post on the subject.
