Bought RCD 310 mp3 unit today from E-bay.
I am sure it is plug-n-play but just need to confirm.
Do I need to upgrade anything?

You will need to buy/update/code your canbus gateway if your car is pre 2007 or you will suffer battery drain issue.

You will also need to buy the antenna adaptor for 3rd generation head units from VW. Part number is 7L6 051 551
